Removing the Track Expense Permission Follow
Users who have the Track Expense permission enabled can access the Purchases, Expense Reports, and Credit Cards pages. When these users create a purchase, expense report, or link a credit card, they are classified as Active Users, and the active usage fee will be applied. You can disable Track Expenses for an individual user, or in bulk for multiple users.
Disable the Track Expense permission from a user profile
Please follow the below steps:
- Log into your Tallie account as an admin
- Click Settings:
- Click Manage Lists:
- Click People:
- Click on the user's name to go into their user profile
- Click the Permissions tab:
- Click the Track Expense slider:

This will cause the slider to turn grey, indicating that it is disabled.

- Click Save and Exit:
Bulk disable the Track Expense permission for multiple users
You can also use the bulk-edit feature to disable this feature for multiple users at the same time. To do so, please follow the below steps:
- Check the box next to the users you want to disable Track Expense for:
- Click Mass Update:
- Click Update Settings:
- Under the Permissions header, select Track Expenses:
- Confirm the slider says NO:
- Click Apply:
